THE MANIFESTO

Creator Profile

I am William James Delday. For over a decade, I designed complex business architectures as an Operations Leader and Systems Architect. My tax files show a remaining $132,625 in RRSP contribution room—irrefutable proof of historical professional success.

Yet, my recent Notice of Assessment reflects a total taxable income of $535.00.

This platform exists to squash the myths of public poverty, expose the raw mechanics of systemic collapse, and hand tactical power back to the people sleeping on the concrete.

The Systemic Failure

Society tells a comforting lie about extreme poverty: that homelessness is a chosen lifestyle or the exclusive byproduct of unchecked addiction. The mathematics of survival prove otherwise.

  • The Eviction Math: Calgary’s apartment vacancy rate has plummeted to a devastating 1.4%.
  • The Disability Austrian Trap: The provincial government transitioned thousands of disabled citizens from AISH to the lower-paying Alberta Disability Assistance Program (ADAP).
  • The Slashed Surplus: If you lose your housing entirely, the province shunts you to the Code 1430 "Food Only" rate.

The Vision

Our long-term mission is the incorporation of a registered non-profit organization dedicated to a robust trajectory: Sanctuary -> Stabilization -> Community Builder.

This goes beyond basic shelter. It is about building resilient, dignified communities where unhoused individuals can reclaim their autonomy, stabilize their circumstances, and eventually become the builders of the very systems that support the next wave of vulnerable populations.
